Legal Assistance - Inheritance Law 

I need some help from a lawyer.

My father pass in March of 2025 after I was estranged from both him and my mother for a period of 2 years. This estrangement was my choice. I asked that they stop communication in between them and my abuser 2 years prior and they refused. 

 

Maintaining a relationship with them while they were facilitating abuse was too difficult. I would like to believe that they didn't know what they were doing but that would be a lie. I was very clear to them that is was detrimental to my health and they didn't care. 

 

When my father passed I was not contacted by any family or institution or organization. My mother was named executor, before I had any idea.

I first reached out to my mother about this in May. She first advised me that he did not have a will. She then rescinded this and said that he did. I started to question the legitimacy of what she was saying at this point in time. I demanded more information and she had me set up a meeting with the accountant.

I was shown a will from 1995, and told that they put all the shares in a trust. I was then shown paper copy and I was not allowed to take the copy out of the office or make a copy. ​

Now my mother also advised me via email that they were updating the will many times earlier.

Obviously many holes in this story, so I need help
